With the support of our incredible Community Partners and dedicated volunteers, we’re turning our Mission into action and spreading the spirit of voluntarism and women’s leadership far and wide. In just half a month, we’ve already seen incredible results that speak volumes about the power of collective action (projection to the end of March):
Our members wasted no time diving into meaningful projects that address crucial issues facing our community.
Coastal Roots Farm: Remodeling the community space at the Aloha Center.
San Diego Community Resource Center: Deep clean of the food pantry.
Hope Through Housing Foundation: Brightening gardens, releasing ladybug pollinators, and starting vegetable and herb seeds in Encanto Village.
PATH Partners: Serving breakfast meals to nourish and uplift PATH clients.
Mama’s Kitchen: Supporting families in need by facilitating meal pickups for direct home delivery.
San Diego Humane Society: Acting as course marshals at the Walk for Animals.
Wakeland Atmosphere Supportive Housing Community: Leading a crockpot cooking class to empower residents with new kitchen skills.
