Provisional Training Course
Junior League of San Diego’s nine month Provisional Training Course provides an introduction to our League focus areas, including our structure and culture, local community/outreach projects, and philanthropic initiatives.
The curriculum combines monthly leadership workshops, experiential training in philanthropic event planning, as well as a number of volunteer, social, and networking opportunities with likeminded women in San Diego County.
Our Provisional Training Courses begin with an Orientation in August and through May of the following year.
Provisional Members who have completed all course requirements, are invited to become Active Members of the Junior League of San Diego at the start of the League Year in July.
Provisional training meetings are held each month, either at the Junior League of San Diego House, at 210 Maple Street, or at an offsite community facility or venue. Some meetings are held in smaller groups in neighborhoods convenient to each team, and led by Provisional Mentors, who are Active Members of the League.
