Island Divine is a premier food, wine, spirits and beer tasting event presented by the Junior League of San Diego. Our 10th annual event theme transports you to the beautiful and romantic Greek island of Santorini. At Island Divine Santorini, you’ll spend a Saturday afternoon sampling some of the best award-winning wines, unique brews, delicious liqueurs and culinary delights the San Diego area has to offer.
Plus, you’ll have a chance to place a bid on spectacular silent auction items and packages which includes trips and more!
But if that’s not enough, Island Divine Santorini features a chic VIP area, offering guests complimentary valet parking, early check-in and special treats throughout the day, including exclusive cooking demonstrations and dazzling drinks, prepared uniquely for Island Divine VIP guests.
At the 2009 event, more than 40 vendors provided “divine” samples to more than 750 guests. The event raised over $50,000 in support of the Junior League's programs and projects.
Those programs and projects include addressing the growing problem of childhood obesity and working to teach families the importance of a healthy lifestyle. We also work to promote voluntarism, develop the potential of women and to improve the community through the effective action and leadership of trained volunteers.
