Reflecting on 95 Years of Impact

Honoring Legacy, Empowering Futures

In March, as we honor JLSD’s 95 years of service, we proudly carry forward the legacy of our founder, Lillian Bradley, with unwavering dedication to our community. Our commitment to empowering and combatting food insecurity remains resolute as we advance with strategic initiatives and collaborative partnerships.

Beyond simply offering charity, JLSD’s impact lies in its dedication to fostering sustainable solutions and empowering individuals to shape brighter futures. With integrity, compassion, and unwavering determination, we strive to make meaningful differences in the lives of those we serve in San Diego. Our recent Charter Day luncheon, held on Saturday, March 9, 2024, was a momentous occasion where JLSD members came together to honor our rich history and glean insights from our esteemed leadership.

We were privileged to host Kelley Grimes, MSW, who shared invaluable perspectives on “The Art of Self-Nurturing: Sustainable Service.” Amidst the celebration, we warmly welcomed our newly appointed leadership for the 2025-2026 term. Their dedication and enthusiasm inspire us as we renew our commitment to creating a more equitable and inclusive future for all. As we commemorate 95 years of profound impact, we remain deeply grateful for the countless lives touched by the Junior League of San Diego.
