The Junior League of San Diego is a nonprofit organization committed to supporting the local community by developing the potential of its members and promoting voluntarism. To that end, the Junior League tries its best to support other nonprofits in the community that are looking to improve the San Diego region.
Current JLSD community partnerships include: the TAY Academy, Promises2Kids, Just in Time for Foster Youth, STARS, Girl Scouts, Walden Family Services, ARTS, the Ronald McDonald House and many, many others.
Project Development & Evaluation
The Project Development and Evaluation (PD&E) Committee ensures that our existing community service projects and initiatives are effective, efficient, and contribute to our mission. The committee also evaluates and develops new project ideas that keep JLSD relevant and progressive, tracking relevant metrics and creating new community projects using the "Needs Assessment Framework".
The PD&E Committee hosts yearly community partner events, circulates a Community Partners' newsletter, and maintains the community partner's database in an effort to maintain JLSD's strong connection with out community.
Do you know of organizations that would be a good fit for partnering with us on future projects? Though we are not explicitly looking to launch a new project this year, we are always open to finding new ways to make a lasting impact in our community.
